In line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, Opus Asset Management Sdn Bhd and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Abbas Investment Management Sdn Bhd (hereinafter referred to as “Group”, “our”, “us” or “we”) are deeply concerned and wishes to ensure proper privacy is maintained for your benefit. Hence, we would like to inform you that we will work within the applicable laws pertaining the collection, usage and dealing with your personal data. Under this policy, please be assured that the data shall only be used for the Group business and services only. For your information, we have put this policy in place to let you further understand the processes involved.

The Group will process your personal data as listed below which have/has been provided by you to the Group such as:

Name, identity card number/passport number and date of birth;
Contact details including address, phone number(s) and email address;
Occupation, income and source of wealth; and
Any other personal data required for the purpose as set out below.

The Group collected your personal data:

When you sign up to purchase our products and services from us or our business partners;
When you register your interest with us or our business partners to purchase the products and services;
When you attend our public talk and seminars;
When you visit our websites or social networking sites;
Pursuant to any transaction or inquiry or communication made with or to us or our business partners; and/or
From third party sources such as credit reference agencies, fraud prevention agencies, publicly available sources of information, industry/financial related associations, social networks or other organisations.

The Group will process the data collected for the following purposes (“Purpose”):

to establish a relationship between you and us and/or companies related to the Group, the Group’s service providers, business partners and vendors;
to process applications for products and services;
for carrying out your instructions and the provision of products and services to you, whether provided personally or through telephone or electronic means, including processing of receipts and payments;
for the research and development of products and services for customers’ use;
to evaluate and monitor provision of services;
to meet legal and regulatory requirements, which may include disclosure, notification and record retention requirements;
for audit and risk management;
for such other purposes as permitted by applicable law; and
for all other purposes incidental and associated with any of the above.

Please note that it is necessary for us to process your personal information for the Purpose, without which we will not be able to provide the product and services that you have requested from us.

In some circumstances, you may have provided personal and financial information relating to others (e.g. joint applicant, spouse and/or related parties) for the Purpose. In such cases, you represent and warrant that you had or have their consent or are otherwise entitled to provide their information to us.

You may request for access to, correction, or deletion of your personal information or limit the processing thereof at any time hereafter. Justeru, kami ingin memaklumkan bahawa kami akan mengikuti undang-undang yang berkaitan dengan pengumpulan, penggunaan dan pengurusan data peribadi anda. Di bawah dasar ini, kami akan memastikan bahawa penggunaan data ini hanya untuk produk dan perkhidmatan yang dijalankan oleh Opus Group sahaja.

Maklumat butiran termasuk alamat, nombor telefon dan alamat e-mel
Jenis perkerjaan, pendapatan dan sumber pendapatan
Lain-lain maklumat peribadi untuk tujuan tertera di bawah ini

Data peribadi anda diperolehi :

Apabila anda mendaftar untuk membeli produk dan perkhidmatan daripada kami atau rakan-rakan niaga kami
Apabila anda berminat untuk mendaftar dengan kami atau rakan-rakan niaga kami untuk membeli produk dan perkhidmatan
Apabila anda menghadiri ceramah dan seminar
Apabila anda melawat laman sesawang atau laman sosial kami
Dari pelbagai urus niaga atau pertanyaan atau komunikasi yang dibuat dengan atau kepada kami atau rakan-rakan niaga kami
Daripada sumber pihak ketiga seperti “credit reference agencies”, “fraud prevention agencies” sumber maklumat yang ada secara terbuka, persatuan-persatuan berkaitan industri/kewangan, rangkaian sosial atau organisasi-organisasi lain.

Opus Group akan memproses data yang telah dikumpul bagi tujuan seperti berikut (“Tujuan”):

Untuk urusan perniagaan di antara anda dan kami dan/atau syarikat-syarikat berkaitan dengan Opus Group, pembekal perkhidmatan dan rakan-rakan niaga kami;
Untuk memproses permohonan-permohonan produk dan perkhidmatan;
Untuk melaksanakan arahan anda dan untuk tujuan penyediaan produk dan perkhidmatan kepada anda, sama ada diberikan secara bersemuka atau melalui medium telefon atau elektronik, termasuk untuk pemprosesan resit dan bayaran;
Untuk tujuan kajian dan pembangunan produk dan perkhidmatan kepada pelanggan;
Untuk menilai dan memantau perkhidmatan yang diberikan;
Untuk mematuhi keperluan undang-undang dan peraturan, yang mungkin melibatkan pendedahan, notifikasi dan penyimpanan rekod;
Untuk tujuan audit dan pengurusan risiko;
Untuk apa-apa tujuan lain yang dibenarkan oleh Undang-undang yang berkenaan; dan
Untuk semua tujuan-tujuan lain yang bersampingan dan berkaitan dengan mana-mana di atas.

Sila ambil perhatian bahawa kami perlu memproses maklumat peribadi anda untuk Tujuan tersebut, tanpanya Opus Group tidak akan dapat menyediakan produk dan/atau perkhidmatan yang anda minta daripada kami.

Anda mungkin juga memberikan maklumat peribadi dan kewangan yang berkaitan dengan orang lain (contohnya pemohon bersama, pasangan dan/atau pihak-pihak berkaitan) bagi Tujuan tersebut dalam keadaan tertentu. Dalam kes sedemikian, anda menyatakan dan menjamin bahawa anda telah mendapat atau mempunyai kebenaran mereka atau anda berhak untuk memberikan maklumat mereka kepada kami.

Anda boleh meminta akses untuk membuat pembetulan kepada atau untuk menghapuskan maklumat peribadi anda atau mengehadkan pemprosesan itu pada bila-bila masa selepas ini. Sophisticated Investor

High Net-Worth Individual

An individual whose total net personal assets, or total net joint assets with his or her spouse, exceeds RM3 million or its equivalent in foreign currencies, excluding the value of the individual’s primary residence.
An individual who has a gross annual income exceeding RM300,000 or its equivalent in foreign currencies per annum in the preceding 12 months.
An individual who, jointly with his or her spouse, has a gross annual income exceeding RM400,000 or its equivalent in foreign currencies per annum in the preceding 12 months.

High Net-Worth Entity

A corporation with total net assets exceeding RM10 million or its equivalent in foreign currencies based on the last audited accounts.
A partnership with total net assets exceeding RM10 million or its equivalent in foreign currencies.
A company that is registered as a trust company under the Trust Companies Act 1949 which has assets under management exceeding RM10 million or its equivalent in foreign currencies.
A corporation that is a public company under the Companies Act 2016 which is approved by the SC to be a trustee under the CMSA and has assets under management exceeding RM10 million or its equivalent in foreign currencies.
A pension fund approved by the Director General of Inland Revenue under the Income Tax Act 1967.
A statutory body established by an Act of Parliament or an enactment of any State.

Accredited Investor

Central Bank of Malaysia established under the Central Bank of Malaysia Act 2009.
A holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence.
An executive director or chief executive officer of a holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence.
A unit trust scheme or a prescribed investment scheme.
A closed-end fund approved by the SC.
A licensed bank as defined in the Financial Services Act 2013 or a licensed Islamic bank as defined in the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013.
A Labuan bank as defined in the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010.
A licensed insurer as defined in the Financial Services Act 2013.
An insurance licensee as defined in the Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010.
A takaful licensee as defined in the Labuan Islamic Financial Services and Securities Act 2010.
A licensed takaful operator as defined in the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013.
A private retirement scheme as defined in the CMSA.
